Calling all wine lovers in Georgia! Ian and I had an extremely fun double date the other week & I wanted to share it with all of you. We had the opportunity to tour (and taste) the gorgeous Yonah Mountain Vineyards in Cleveland, Georgia & it was 100% worth the almost two hour drive from Marietta.

Sitting on two hundred acres, the vineyard has seven plots of planted grapes that are named after people in their family to make it more romantic and personal. The General Manager, Eric was our tour guide & he was extremely knowledgable and helpful when explaining everything to us - we were extremely surprised that we learned so much about wine in general, and not just about their vineyard. It was not only a fun experience, but also a great learning opportunity for those wanting to know more about the process of wine making.

From electric car charging stations to a NASA air purifying system to keep mold away, Yonah Mountain Vineyard really thinks of every single detail possible. I do not want to give too many details away because I want you to tour the vineyard for yourself, but they put so much thought into everything they do and work really hard to create the best wine possible. You definitely do not want to skip over this tour and tasting! It's an awesome date day for you & your significant other, or even a fun day to spend with your family or friends. Ian and I really enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to go back & learn even more. Go check them out and learn about the wine making process & all of their many accomplishments.
